[BH] Locked doors prevent sims' projection from going through it

So I sent my sim to university. She lives in a dormitory and her roommates kept coming into her room, so I locked the door so only her could take it. But my sim has the "instructive sleep" ability (or whatever it's called in english ^.^") and when she uses it, her projection is locked into her room.
It feels like a sim's projection should be able to go through doors that are unlocked for that same sim ?
