[BH] Most customers not entering small business

I watched a YouTuber trying out the pack who mentioned that it’s easier to get customers to come inside and stay inside if you also put the kiosk inside. Preferably place it as far away from the door as is practical, so they don’t turn right around and walk back out.

After researching online, I seem to be the only one having this issue. I registered a small business on the new harbor park lot and it's unplayable because sims will walk up to the ticket kiosk, check in, and then walk to the edge of the lot and disappear. I tried removing the kiosk and opening the business through the sign, but when that happens, sims show up at the edge of the lot and then just stand there. They don't come into the building and participate in any of the activities and when I try to call them over, they start leaving/disappearing from the lot. I do not have any CC or mods downloaded either. I would be very appreciative for a solution or insight as to if anyone else has had this problem because its extremely irritating, thank you.

Customers also need something "to do". If your only thing is giving tattoos they are likely entering, realizing they have nothing to do, and just standing there until it's time to leave. You need to give them a TV to watch or something while waiting their turn!

I am having this same issue. I have a business that preferers teens and the teens will show to the lot, check in at the kiosk, and then leave out. I have moved the kiosk further inside the building and have multiple activities that can be done on the lot and still have this issue.

I feel your pain! I am currently playing with an arcade/bowling business. My teen/adult customers walk into the building, pay at the kiosk and immediately leave. There is no option to "Welcome to business" anymore. The only sims that stay are the children. I have tried making services 50% off but it only brings a ton more sims to my lot who just stand around. 

I can't get teen through elder sims to stay at any of the businesses I have created. I have had 3 businesses throughout 3 generations. Sims walk into the business, pay through the kiosk, and walk away without fail. Only children will stick around.  1st generation was a tattoo shop. 2nd generation was a painting business. 3rd generation has an arcade/bowling alley. The weird thing is that for the first day open, everything goes to plan. Sims are sticking around and purchasing items for sale. The next time it opens, we are back to older sims leaving immediately after using the kiosk. Only children will stay but as we all know, they don't pay. 

I have a small business at the sim's Home. Opened the business for a few sim hours but all customers Just standing outside.

No door locked, all activities are accessible at public area. Kiosk is at public area.

No mod or cc is used.
