The Sims 4 folder on the Eletronic Arts folder, I also uninstalled it. Do I need to do something else to delete everything completely? I've tried your method of "Sims 4_old" and repairing, nothing changes. Both new and old saves can't edit children 😭😭, This happened after I downloaded Businesses and Hobbies btw, it was fine before that.
