Bought the game before it was free
I paid for the game before it was free, which i know was a while ago now but I just found this forum. Is there any sort of compensation we get since i paid $40 for the base game? Its just so annoying...

Back when TS4 first became f2p, anyone who had already paid for the base game was able to claim the Desert Luxe kit for free. afaik this was a limited-time offer and the kit had to be manually claimed, so unfortunately it sounds like you've missed your opportunity and I doubt EA will reimburse you in any other way :(
