This is literally the worst patch you've ever pushed out.
I was so frustrated that I experimented with making my Options.ini file read only after turning it off, but no, the game can still write to Options.ini like that based on the timestamp. I'm considering going in as another account and making an explicit deny on my ability to write to this file and seeing if this prevents Wants and Fears from coming back on.
YES, I know this will cause other problems. I'm so annoyed that I DON'T CARE.
I suspect that your code to turn this woooooonderful feature on for all the users after you disabled it by default for years is overzealous.
