    This has been confirmed to me by SimGuruNick over on twitter to be working as designed. I find it VERY annoying but apparently it was a design choice so that they could have multiple turban designs that were not tied to specific hair colours.

The durags, for all ages, that were added in an SDX a while ago don't allow the hair colour to be changed. They either show black baby hairs or black stubble depending on the feminine or maculine style chosen.

I expect them to work the same as the babushka scarf from the base game update and the Growing Together head scarf. You can pick the scarf design in the hat section and you can still change the hair colour in the hair section.

All of the affected assets have 'Hat_SDX005Durag' in their names.

    If you apply any of the head wraps from City Living, you lose the ability to change the Sims' hair colour. It will always appear brown even if you have a different colour selected.

    I expect them to work the same as the babushka scarf from the base game update and the Growing Together head scarf. You can pick the scarf design in the hat section and you can still change the hair colour in the hair section.

    The Sims in the pictures all have red hair selected.
