[BY DESIGN] Generic lot types prevents Sims from visiting the lot

There is a glitch when you categorize a lot as "generic" and build on it, then when you send a sims to visit, NO OTHER sim comes, they just walk buy, but there are TONS of sims with the other lot typ...

 Do you have a reference to where the gurus have said that I can't find a reference I just see it stated over and over again on the forums that genetic lots don't have NPCs spawn.   

I tested this in my game and it seems like the don't get visitors.  

This is what the tool tip states:

I am not sure if this means you can invite people to the lot or if they will spawn on the lot.

@canelacaliente If this is indeed by design, I hope that the tool tip can be more specific about what these appearing "visitors" refer to in a future update. Aliens? I kid. 🙂
