I have to manually make sims sit at the desk and only then can use the computer. If I tell a sim to do something on the computer, the action will just disappear if they are not already sitting at the desk. Happens with any computer-related action and for both kids and adult sims.

    Hi, I am having the same problem, but have figured out that it depends on the chair that is by the desk....
