Can we get a different 'Master of the Real' painter work outfit?

I love the 'Master of the Real' career for my Sim, and I have used it for her in a number of playthroughs in my game. However... the white tank top splattered with paint that she wore for several levels... all the way until the top level, rather hurts my eyes. The then one you get once the top level is reached, 'Painter of the Real', is definitely an improvement, but still just jeans and a shapeless, buttoned to the top short, solid blue smock. After going all through the career and reaching the top level it would be wonderful if the outfit could be more attractive or 'hip'. While going through the levels, the Watercolor Dabbler (?) outfit was actually good... I think a t-shirt, jeans and painting apron with splatters, which made sense but looked so much better on her.

I'm bringing this up in relation to many other careers that have the 'side reward', to very visual players like me, that as the career advances the work outfit occasionally changes to a better outfit that still suits the career. I would love for the top one or two tiers to achieve a artsy, 'hip' or more 'classy' artist outfit that would still be practical to the career intent (casual enough to make sense and including a splattered apron or similar, maybe?).

Edited:..I added edits/corrections above as I did reach the top level and found I had mis-remembered and the sim did change from the white, paint splattered tank top to the plain smock mentioned above. I considered removing this post (since at least the tank-top is gone at the top level - yay!), but I'm still disappointed with the uniform and will want my sim out of it as soon as she gets home (if I can remember to have her change). However, I must admit, I am very relieved its not the tank-top. 🙌

Probably the best solution for updating undesirable career outfits is to give Players the option to edit career outfits in CAS. Many of my Sims whom I've decided they wear glasses and a hearing aid end up losing these accessories when they go to work. Pretty annoying. If I remember, customizing career outfits was possible in Sims 3.

It would be a welcomed update to allow editable career outfits, and with this change, maybe provide more career CAS unlocks for Players to decide how they want their Sims to look in their career. In the Painter career, for example, maybe a vintage smock from the Impressionist era, complete with a Van Gogh straw hat. Or an artistically painted suit jacket to show you've achieved maxed career level as a Painter.

  • @Vyo4  Wow, it would be an awesome reward for maxing a career to both have a nice new outfit and also have the option of choosing a career outfit (or even to have the ability to choose between a few outfit variations). Nice ideas! 🙌

  • @SheriGR Until the Team makes it more accessible and easy to choose, there is at least this cheat:

    sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas

You have to be playing as the sim when you enter it, however, because it will only bring up one sim in CAS.

@LadyAofPineapple What an awesome idea!!! I just chose an outfit using that sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas cheat, and this will help so much! Thanks a million!!! 🙌
I was also able to add her glasses to the outfit. Yay!

@Vyo4 That's such a great idea. It would also be really helpful for the Style Influencer career, it has some of the most ridiculous outfits I've seen.

@wayward_daugther see my post above, as it will help that career also 🙂
