Can't complete Reaper's Rewards in multiple save files?
I'm loving the event, but the issue I'm having is that you can apparently only do this event once and that's it?
I created a new save to play in just to test the whole thing out, but when I switched to an old save to re-do it with an old sim, I was unable to because I'd already completed the challenges in a different save file. This has left me unable to get the first Freezer Boney collectible in any other save and I don't know if I'm being dumb and I've missed something, but this feels like a bit of an oversight. I'm sure I'm not the only simmer with multiple save files who would like to unlock all of the collectibles across multiple saves/sims. Is it possible to get this changed with the event already active? Even if not, food for thought for future events.
(And if I am being dumb, someone please tell me!)
@akaAgentChaos You can buy most items in any save once you've earned them; I think the only exceptions are some consumables that you could make anyway. The freezer boney should be accessible.
I don't know whether this will work, but you could try moving accountDataDB out of your Sims 4 user folder. This reset progress for me on the tasks (not the claimed rewards though), but I hadn't finished either set. However, this file also contains the data for the first round of login rewards, so don't delete it. Just set it aside temporarily, and put it back when you've played through the tasks the second time, if you can.
