It was nice to be able to drive in The Sims 3 or even walk from building to building when you were in an area. I should not have to fast travel for my college Sim to eat if they are standing next to the building.
@SVARTRYTTARE there's a guide here to use cheats to add vehicles to your game.

They obviously don't move, but you can still add them to a lot and put them on a drive or outside a garage.

@SVARTRYTTARE , in addition to what @simsplayer818 mentioned about the cheat that can put cars on the lot as objects (and not real cars) for realistic visuals, there are several simulated "garages" that many builders have built to mimic real garages to also give your houses a more realistic look. You can find many of them on the Gallery! 😊

You can have cars in the game even if it's not open world we have it in Sims 2 where Sims got in the car and drove down the street, Sims Bustin Out was on console you saw the Sims get into the car and it was a loading screen, Sims Urbz on console had motorcycles all they was run up and down the alley way. Sims 4 don't have roads doesn't mean we can't have cars because it's not open world to me Sims 4 is more open then Sims 2 was so I think cars can work since I feel like the neighborhood is open Im suggesting have more gameplay with cars like washing, putting gas, installing an alarm system, upgrade, have an active mechanic career, car jobs like uber, or food delivery. All Sims have a driver's license lol.

@Briana2526 I think a lot of people would like this because it is a nice compromise since we can't have an open world, but people still want the game to mimic such a mainstay of real life. Though, there will be those people who only want cars because they think it will mean we will get an open world. 😅 But I think most people just want to make houses that have real garages and cars to look like we are driving them somewhere, even if we still get loading screens like we did with cars in TS2! 😊
Thanks! I was reading that when you are in build mode you actually can enlarge the objekts without using a cheat. So thats cool. But it would be nice to have as a pack tho.
- @PugLove888 you've hit the nail on the head for me. I just want my garages and drives to look real. I'm considering using debug cars soon. I keep pondering it but just haven't tried it yet. There's only so many times I can enlarge the toy cars in the game!
@SVARTRYTTARE here's some tips on how to enlarge items in the game incase you haven't seen them.
Thanks. I know how to enlarge the items i had tried.
then i continued to enlarge other objects just for fun.
but what i dont understand is the process for the cars?
like i said before. Would be nice to have as a pack.
But thank you for the info 👌
- @SVARTRYTTARE I agree I hope we do get cars even just as decor. I just enlarge them x8 for the toy cars as that's about the right size and sit them on a drive or in car parks (like at the GTW Science lab) so it looks realistic. There's a house in Del sol Valley (Get Famous) that has a lovely sports car parked outside it on the street and I want more of those.

I place either the larger version of the kiddie police or yellow kiddie toy car on the outside driveway for a good laugh.
Incidently, there are people who have created rooms with all the debug vehicles and others have created garage's.
\Just search the gallery for them and plonk them in game/
Being a console player, Can you access the debug menu? I take it EA has worked with cc creators for the next dlc, because console players cant download and install cc from sites.
Wonder how that works out for the future cc/mods for console systems.
- @Eeekey Yes we can use debug. I must get around to using it, it's just the cars I want really. My current new build project doesn't have a road near it so maybe on my next build.

@simsplayer818 Rosemow Posted a link to a lot created by SheriGr with many debug cars.

Good day everyone,
I don't know what you think about this, but I think it's a shame that you can't drive and update cars like in the Sims 2 and 3, or work and tinker with the fire department.

The world is unfortunately not built for cars considering most worlds don't even have any actual roads. Would have been fine if they had it like S2, since it was lazy how sims ust teleported into cars and not open the doors or anything.
I'd hate to see that or just have them teleport in cars in their driveway and poof out of existence for awhile with no animation. Doubt there will ever be any, but we've been getting things like smaller transport items.

I believe cars are coming they've been hinting at cars coming for quite a while now, so I won't be surprised if they were to be brought in the game this year.

The sims 4 is such a downgrade from the sims 3 and sims 4. $40 for a game that barley has any content unless you buy all packs which is over $500. I honestly think the sims 4 is a cash grab with how many packs they release a little content when nit comes to base game. the game is extremely laggy and bugged yet EA doesn't fix it because apparently there's too many packs in the game to fix the base game. Kits should be in the base game and should not charge people for outfits and clutter. I feel bad for everyone thats on console playing the sims because they cant download cc to make their games better and have to buy packs and kits.
