    @LunarBritney All the standing crystals are like that. You need to craft a jewel to wear when you go to work/school.

@GiardiniDiMarzo If the crystal's only benefit is displayed on all versions of it, I shouldn't need to figure out which one truly gives the benefits in the correct way. It's just misleading and frustrating.

I have a question: Can these gems be placed inside a school building where they would be useful or inside a work structure where they would be useful? If that is possible, then if there were two of them at that location and one could always be charging while the other was giving benefit, would that be a useful work around to the dilemma?

    @amjoie Only active high school/the three Get To Work active careers have a lot you can access that you could put the crystal on, and I don't think you get chance cards while at active school/work?

      on that note, do sims even wear the jewelry to work?

      cause they change into work clothes so...just wondering

        They do, you might need to select "wear with all outfits" a few times to get it to take. Rings and Earrings are easiest to see when they are wearing them. Necklaces and bracelets often get hidden under clothing.

      @Gingerxyz  Ah, well, then. I guess the ability to keep the functioning crystals in inventory is something EA needs to look into. Otherwise I am forced to agree, it is a bit of giving with one hand, and taking back with the other.

      @Gingerxyz nope I don't think any active careers will get benefit from any career boost mechanism, it's a bug.

      or rather need coding, sort of problem. so that any career from any DLC is affected by any career boost mechanism.

    @amjoie unfortunately most of the active works like high school, acting, doctor, detective, scientist, home decorator and most of non base game careers are not affected by any career boost mechanism, it's truly one of the bug of all time.

    also yes, u can use 1 charged while other charging and switch place and so on for infinite use.
