Click to Age Up Chick Request

I would love it if we could get the option on chicks after one day to click and age them up, like with newborns.

I play with aging off, so I'm not sure if this is a factor, but I have had regular chicks that eventually aged up. If I had the option at the age of one day to choose to age them up (like with newborns), this would be awesome. Thanks!

  • @SheriGR This would be so great since I inevitably have to turn "animal aging" on for a day or so, just so the chicks age up and become useful. But not so long that the other animals become elders or die. Thanks for the post!

@LadyAofPineapple I can't find the discussion to reference it, and I'm not positive if I did it right... but it worked for me... I found my regular chicks were eventually aging up (but it sure took a while) but I had over 10 golden chicken chicks running around that were just not aging up for me. So.... maybe you could try this with regular chicks? I believe what I did was to:

    1. Call all of the chicks and chickens out of the coop.
    2. Delete the coop into my household inventory.
    3. Save.
    4. Re-add the coop to the lot and reassign the chicks to the coop.
    5. Call all of the chicks into the coop.

If I remember right, the chicks then began to age up. However, it may have begun the next morning? I don't remember, but it's worth a try. It's also possible that I also exited the game or at least exited to the main menu after saving (step #3), then re-entered the lot and re-added the coop, etc.

Even if this works for you, I still definitely would love an 'age up' option in the pie-menu popup.
