Console Problems…

I think the Sims team can remove this from the game, and never had it in. After, the For Rent bugs messed up the save file I had for three years, I decided to save all my sims, lots, etc. and start fresh. Only to find out I can’t add “parent-child” relationships to any of my families, unless they were saved together. Console players we can’t use mods, and can only use some of the cheats. How am I supposed to fix this? I haven’t played in months, when I realized and now that it’s every family, I don’t want to play at all. 😭

    TreAce236​ you can use the cas.fulleditmode cheat to add the relationships, it doesn't require testingcheats (cheats requiring that are the ones that disable console achievements) so it's a safe cheat to use on console. You will just need to put them in the same household first from Manage Worlds and can move them out again. One tip though, move them out in live mode instead of via Manage Worlds. If you don't do that there's a chance they will be related but with no relationship bar and will need to introduce themselves... that's caught me out a few times! So you need to play them as a household for a quick minute then move them once you've checked their relationship bars. If it goes wrong and they have no relationship, for a quick fix give them the Friendly Introduction reward trait (then forget the immersion breaking fact they had to introduce themselves again).
