Re: Deck the Palms event missing in-game and can't claim rewards
As someone who had a difficult December (family member passed away), am an adult who has a job, and having to balance all of that around the holidays only to discover that apparently its one that I have to log in to get the rewards, not having any precursors/situations to get the prizes and the last few times I logged onto The Sims 4 that my log ins didn't count toward the reward. So now I am going to miss out on things I was hoping would cheer me up. Rather than having a pick-me-up, it makes me feel more bummed out. I know its a long-shot, but they have done it before, I hope that they extend the event. Even if its just an extra week so that more of us who weren't home, busy, and generally unable to log in/log-in didn't count (???) can have the opportunity to get these items. I will be pretty bummed out to miss out. 😞
Having an event like this during the busiest time of year for many people regarding work, especially those of us who work retail, the holiday season, and such should be inclusive, not time restrictive in my opinion. Sure you don't have to do anything, so on one hand any one could get them, but only if the platform works correctly.
My EA app constantly says its offline, even if I restart it, restart my laptop, do the tips I have seen online, etc. Surely, I am not the only one and that is also an issue for others, which again, not aiding to us getting to complete this rewards event. I know it prevented me from being able to look at the holiday sales and such as well.
Generally bummed out and frustrated. :/
