Deck the Palms event missing in-game and can't claim rewards

    Hey all,

    Firstly, I completely understand the frustration here. Our teams did investigate the issue as it was happening, but due to the way the event systems are structured, we weren’t able to implement a safe fix within the event window.

    What is important for us to say is that your feedback is being shared directly with the teams working on events. Situations like this help inform how future events are designed, tested, and supported; including how we handle contingencies when things don’t go as planned.

    We appreciate everyone who raised concerns respectfully and took the time to explain how this affected their play. Please keep letting us know when something isn’t working or doesn’t feel fair. Even when we can’t change the outcome immediately, your voices do matter and do influence future decisions

Hello everyone,

I really love the world of SpongeBob. So I tried to follow the "Deck the Palms" event (a bit late, since I only discovered it at the beginning of January). I logged in from time to time, and I managed to get several new items. But some items remained locked, like the Krabby Patty recipe or the SpongeBob hoodie that I was aiming for. On the item, the message said something like "wait until the week of the event when this item will be available." And now I realize that the event is over. I think I missed something.

I looked online, and I saw that the Krabby Patty recipe and the hoodie were available on December 26th and 27th, but I wasn't logged in those days.

I also have to admit that I haven't bought the SpongeBob pack yet, because I'm getting a new computer in two weeks, and since the pack is available until March, I was waiting to install the last few packs I was missing on my new computer.
Did I need to own the pack to get these items?

So there are some items from the "Deck the Palms" event that I missed, and I'm really frustrated about it. The game experience is so much more enjoyable when all the items are there, especially since I'd like to explore these elements further in the game.

Is there any way I can get these items (the Krabby Patty and the hoodie in particular) afterward?

Unless EA fixes it the only way would be if you’re a pc player to download the FOMO mod. It includes recipes and CAS items like those you’re interested in. But that’s only when mod is applied sadly.
