Disabilities

I've been playing The sims since the first edition. I played The sims 2 from 2005 to 2021 and I've been playing with The sims 4 since 2021. I love a lot of the new content, especially the possibility to have polyamorous relations and the scars and medical devices.

That said, I'd love it if there was more inclusion of disability in the sims. The hearing aids are great but it would be better if you could have real deaf sims. It would be awesome with we could create or birth sims with only one leg or who can only go from place to place in a wheelchair. I know it has to be a big challenge but we'll soon be in 2025 and I think it's doable. I'd get it even if it was an expensive pack.

  • I imagine having deaf Sims would probably take a while to develop because of what it would take to create that communication but I would be so amped to see a Sim sign language one day! It could even be a whole skill for hearing Sims to learn too

I'd love to see canes and crutches as well. I hope mobility aids are something that get developed, and it better be base game. With all they've been doing these days to deepen queer inclusion, expand skin tones and curly hairstyles, and now polyamory inclusion, I actually have some faith we may start to see some disability representation

Previously The Urbz had Wheelchair (NPC) and The Sims 2 (PlayStation Portable) had Belt of Levitation (NPC with a Ghost walk style)

Mute voice and Sign Language skill could be added.
