Re: Suggestion - Sims 4 - Sims with Disabilities

I am a frequent sims 4 player, and something I love about the sims 4 is how it gives some options toward inclusivity. As a disabled queer woman, it can be extremely difficult to feel represented in some ways in many games, movies, or other forms of media. So, I am glad that the sims 4 has made effort into being inclusive toward several groups who often don't get represented in media so much.
One thing I have noticed is the extreme lack of ability diversity. In Get to Work, your sims can experience health issues, but they resolve quickly. For some people that works, and if you are one of those people, I am happy for you! For me personally, my gameplay would be a lot better if I could see more representation in the disability and chronic illness area. We have options to give sims hearing aids, some scars, and skin conditions. However, I think there is so so much more potential than that.
just to list a few options:
Sims who are wheelchair/walker/cane users, who need to use ramps in order to get around, and have limited walking/standing time without their mobility aid before having energy failures! It happens to real people. There are many reasons people might use a wheelchair so I feel that the options for a sim who needs a wheelchair could also be extensive!
Chronic and incurable health conditions like diabetes, epilepsy and seizure disorders, hyper mobile joint issues and arthritis, fibromyalgia, heart/kidney/liver disease, autoimmune diseases... the list of these seriously will go on and on forever, and it would be super interesting to expand on an idea like Get to Work's doctor career with EMT, paramedic, firefighter, surgeon/PCP/nurse career paths as well as new traits and moodlets from having a health issue.
Other disabilities: sims who are blind and read braille, deaf and use sign simlish, amputees, sims who use ostomy bags that need replaced when bladder need goes low, sims with dwarfism, sims who have chronic migraines/headaches or faint/have energy failures frequently (or quicker than other sims).
Maybe there would even be a chance that sims develop these conditions (such as epilepsy, blindness, or an injury requiring they use a wheelchair). It might be interesting to see negative effects after negative things happen to your sims (like getting struck by lighting)
The thing is, you don't have to be disabled to enjoy gameplay like this, so I really really hope EA comes out with something like this soon. Disabled people are the largest minority group across the world - I would love to see more inclusion for something that affects everyone, everywhere.
