Man, I actually somewhat forgot about this post, which was actually my first post in the forums, but was Answers HQ at the time. But honestly, the Happy at Home event was beyond pointless, especially since all the stuff ended up being given to everyone, so no, it was not worth the effort trying to claim the items in the first place.
To be honest, I do NOT recommend playing The Sims 4 unless you have a specific reason to do so. While yes, I did use The Sims 4 for a good purpose, it's seriously not worth keeping around, especially with how much more bloated it's become since I made this forums post. The good news, however, is that I'm walking away with preserved screenshots (180,000+ screenshots), so at least I've got something well done, and it seriously feels much more rewarding than any of the event rewards that keep getting pushed out. But either way, just because The Sims 4 has been a helpful tool for me, doesn't make it a good game.
