I have all packs. Right now, I'm leisurely combining packs of Paranormal and Crystal Creations. It's the game I built specifically built for the Reaper event. I have the story in mind for Eva as she trials through spectacles but also trying to enjoy her hobby as a jewelry maker. ...which possibility also wants to understand more with Grim and his...line of work...The festivals notifications with the music and popups drive me absolutely INSANE. Does it for other players? I just want a nice quiet (well semi quiet when its daytime) gameplay. However it irks the living soul out of me to continuously receive notifications of Prom, Football, (Eva is a young adult!) City Living festivals, the cottage festivals, The Festival of Light...oh. my. god. PLEASE....😞I turned off my mods and I don't want to play with them for a while. I'm enjoying the game without them through this save file. I have noted with the mods, I undergo too-many-items syndrome where I want to play with this mod, then this one, and this one. I was getting overwhelmed and turned them off. I'm just sending hopefully an idea or some kind of feedback to PLEASE give me the option to turn off the notifications or even delete festivals I'm not interested in this save file. Please save my sanity.

I agree! Especially when I get high school notifications on a non high school household. The incessant Cupid's Corner ads are bothering me too and they are every day along with Thriftea notifications. I'd love to turn them off. I never minded them at first but the more packs you have, obviously the more you get and it's a lot!

@3Rosez I totally agree and this is actually making me annoyed of every notification. I'm really sad since there's lots of threads suggesting this for so long but we got nothing yet...

@3Rosez , @thornwill , @simsplayer818 , @LadyAofPineapple I completely agree! If I have no farm animals or large produce, teens in high school, etc. I don't need all the reminders. And now with Cupid's Corner, I am aggravated because clearly my Sim knows it exists because she met her husband on the app, and she has the Loyal trait, so why would she want to be reminded of constantly of Cupid's Corner now that she isn't looking anymore?!? 🤦🏻♀️😅

I feel like this request would be solved with the implementation of the updated calendar as requested in another thread. I WOULD LOVE THIS SO MUCH.On a simpler note, just allowing us to remove the audio associated with the notifications could be a start. Like I already shut off the audio "sting" for mood changes. I'm easily overstimulated with sound, so this was a no brainer. I think it would be great if the Sim could select certain types of festival notifications. Then you could choose, for example: only festivals in the neighborhood, or only competitions, or events for specific age groups, sports events, etc. This way the Sim could make a relevant selection based on interests.

i don't mind in some occassions when the events pops up but it gets so annoying at times, i wish you can toggle them off atleast because i feel somehow rushed if i don't want to do these events at times

i know with seasons we have a calender to add and delete the events so why not having the option to toggle the events off with each their own packs?

like for examble maybe i want to go to some sort of a competition that takes place in San Myshuno but don't want other competitions or events in general that comes with Cottage Living to name a few? (they're just exambles of course)

maybe we can have the option to toggle each of the events that comes with a certain pack off or only a certain event of the pack (just a thought)
i don't mind visiting some events that takes place in certain world but i feel it's a little too much sometimes if it all takes place at the same time or worse the events pops up like each day or something, i want the option to toggle it off

For me, festival affinity is a part of my sims' personalities. Some of them never miss Humor and Hijinks, some of them (especially the Hot-Headed ones) wouldn't be caught dead at Humor and Hijinks. What I would love is if there was a menu you could open up under household (phone or computer) where you could select which festival popups are turned off for that household and which are turned on. So, if none of the household members care about the Festival of Light, I never hear about that festival when I'm playing that household. The weekly notification of Ravenwood events that we currently get could be one selectable notification, as well as a weekly notification of Ohanali Town events (which we currently don't get, but I would really like).
I'd also like an option in the phone social menu where you can indicate if an individual is available to accompany friends to specific events. This would manage whether they get phone invitations, and which events they can be invited to.
