I have a high resolution laptop screen. It is 13.5 inches, but because the resolution is so high the game thinks it is 27 inches. As a result the default UI is super, teeny tiny, and to fix it to look normal I have to set my UI scale to 50, which is 200% scaling and outside the range the game considers allowed.
Every time I open my game with 200% scaling / UI scale of 50, the game shouts at me to change it and reset it to the super teeny-tiny default with its nearly invisible text. If I change it to a different resolution, closer to what you'd get on a lower resolution laptop, I have issues with mouse clicks not registering and not being able to play the game.
It's 2025. People are playing with different resolutions, and the Sims 4 game can't recognize actual screen size properly. The UI becomes so small the game is nearly unplayable.
We need a setting to permanently disable the startup warning, I don't care if its in the Options.ini where more casual players won't see it and accidentally get themselves into trouble.
