You are not incorrect. I just would have liked to see a little more than a redo of what should have been available already with the packs we have. There are SO many ideas fellow simmers have posted just on this forum alone! But EA doesn't seem to listen to those who have supported them.
Oh I know about EA not listening to simmers as well I've been asking for more gameplay for ages. Now I'm happy that they rereleased Sims 2 so the new simmers can see why veteran simmers be so wound up about not having certain gameplay in the game when we had it before. I would suggested a hobbies pack with ballet, karate, sculpting making a statue we used to make that in Sims Bustin Out on Console and I used to love it. However with this pack they did a little more then I expected.
