Voices, Audio Variety & Singing Feedback

The current voice system gives Sims distinct personalities and adds fun variety to conversations. It’s also nice that Sims can sing, which ties into music-related gameplay.

There are only three adult voice types, which start to feel repetitive across large saves. Sims lack regional accents, making them sound too similar. On top of that, the singing voice doesn’t reflect a Sim’s chosen speaking voice, which breaks immersion.

New Voice Types: Add 2–3 new voice options for both male and female Sims.

Accents: Introduce accents (e.g., British, African-American, Australian, etc.) to give Sims more cultural and regional identity.

Singing Voice Matching: Ensure that a Sim’s singing voice better reflects their speaking voice, instead of using the same default singing tone.

It would make Sims feel more unique and realistic, especially in large households or long saves. Matching singing voices to speaking voices would improve immersion, while accents and new voice options would create greater diversity and help players tell richer stories.

  • At this point, I'd pay to have some new Sims voices.  Children just have two only.

I realize you can change the pitch, but it doesn't change the voices.

Even adding some accents like a British or French accent or I don't know how you'd do an Asian accent in Simlish.

I'm unsure if it's a cost thing, maybe it would be heavily time consuming.   If they even made it possible to upload voices I think it would be refreshing.

Yeah we need some low black British/american man voices, and a Latino voice too, most the male voices are really high even in the lowest setting.
brash and clear are the only usable ones for men.

I agree about the male voices, I always turn the pitch way down.  Children, I can't hardly distinguish the female from male because they are so high pitch.

Doing an accent is easy you just gotta hire a voice actor from that country then when they’re saying the lines their natural accent comes thru. Like if you’re Spanish you’re gonna say esul esul (sul sul = hello) cause Spanish people naturally say they’re from espain.
