The real-life Disney World is a nightmare to navigate. Just imagine how infuriating EA's version would be to walk your sim(s) from Main Street to Frontier Land just to hit Big Thunder Mountain.
Here's how an actual Disney World expansion would go: It would be heavily-reduced in size compared to the real thing. Not just because expansion packs are largely phoned-in, but because Sims 4 days are really short, so exploring anything bigger than a highly-miniaturized version of the magic kingdom would take weeks of in-game time. And that's not even getting to the other parks like Epcot! And if Batuu is any indication, only a handful of attractions would actually be there, and they'd be rabbit holes with maybe one or two CYOA messages per ride.
Then there's the Disney problem. Disney is extremely protective of its IPs. You will not be able to edit the lot whatsoever. All occult powers will be turned off while your sim is there. Romancing and/or fighting Mickey will not be an option. You will not be able to ask Peter Pan to change into his swimsuit. You would not be able to interact with anything in any way unless a bunch of old men in a corporate Disney boardroom explicitly allowed EA to implement it.
It would basically be the Star Wars expansion again, except even more disappointing.
