Event Feedback

Here is some feedback on the events in the game.

Like

  • I like how the last event gave choices
  • There are unlocks for older packs so older packs get updated with new items.
  • The interactions with the event NPC.
  • There are different types of events. I like the login events the best because the tasks for the other events aren't good.

Don't Like

  • The event stories pop up as a notification. It should pop up in the middle of the screen so it can be easily seen and read after completing a task.
  • The events need better tasks than watch tv or travel to a location.
  • The events can't be replayed. Some of the events should become scenarios so players who enjoyed the events can replay them even if there aren't prizes.
  • Events prior to the items being binded to the EA account have the items locked in CAS and Build mode. These objects should be unlocked so players can enjoy them.

General Ideas

  • Make the odd job system from Island Living base game and have tasks for an event run through this system. The system is similar to what other cozy games have and I think it would work really well.
  • Add more crafting, cooking, and collecting to the events. I don't feel involved in the process when my Sim has to watch TV to complete an event task.

Base Game

  • Small microscope that fits on the desk or table
  • Space Explorer Aspiration (complete all the space prints, use the telescope, reach the top of the astronaut career, woohoo in space)
  • Craft beds and sofas on the woodworking table
  • Yard sales table

Get to Work

  • Lot trait that forces aliens to wear disguises
  • Aspiration focuses on owning a retail business
  • Aspiration focused on getting to the top of an active career
  • Alien aspiration
  • Alien skill tree
  • Sales uniform
  • Cash register
  • New retail display shelves

Get Together

  • Voidcritter closet
  • New arcade machine style
  • Lot trait that improves the relationship of club members when they gather on the lot

Seasons

  • Single beds that match the two double beds
  • Aspiration to explore each of the seasons
  • Different thermostat
  • Different umbrella stand
  • Different decorations box
  • Lot trait where Sims aren't penalized for not participating in holiday celebrations

Get Famous

  • Lot trait that disallows celebrities from appearing on the lot
  • Stylist chair that lets you charge money to customers for styling them
  • Stylist platform that lets to charge money to customers for styling them

  • I hope we can get a new event soon. There aren't any new packs being released and I'm a little bored. The next patch isn't coming with enough gameplay. I had AI flesh out one of my event ideas. It seems more interactive and better than the events the Sims team puts out. This is what it came up with:

    Event Title: “Heat & Hype: Nightlife Unleashed”

    Tagline: Feel the burn, steal the spotlight, and turn back time.

    Event Premise

    The Sims world is gripped by a new dangerous nightlife craze: inferno parties at underground clubs, combined with a rise of freelance stylists charging big Simoleons for look transformations. An enigmatic alchemist offers age-defying secrets — but only if Sims complete the weekly challenges.

    Week 1 – Ignite the Night

    Theme: Fire hazards & reckless partying
    Weekly Goal: Have a fire start on a community lot with the Inferno lot trait active.

    • Easiest method: Use a fireplace + cheap rug nearby.

    How the Event Would Play (Example Player Experience)

    1. Week 1: A player adds the Inferno trait to a nightclub, starts a fire via fireplace, and unlocks the trait permanently, plus gets a cool scorched lamp.
    2. Week 2: They place the styling station at home or a retail shop, hire an NPC (or Sim) to get styled, charge money, complete goal, unlock station.
    3. Week 3: They drink the age potion (or save it for later), get younger, and receive the shimmer skin detail as a bonus.
    4. Week 4: They plan the new party type at the inferno club, dress guests in the new neon outfit, watch a little flame dance floor action, then claim the grand prize.
