Event Tab Still Present After Completing Event

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Main Menu > Resume Game or Load Game > Select Household > Enter Live Mode
What happens when the bug occurs? The tab for the Blast From The Past event is still on my screen despite me having completed the event.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to not be there taking up a portion of the corner my screen for the next 16 days until the event ends when I have already completed it. Or at least for there to be an option to disable it whether completed or not. Some simmers do not wish to engage in events in the first place and shouldn’t have to have this on their screen for a whole month while it is in progress.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? I’m on console so no.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No, it’s every time there’s an event on though. Grim’s Rewards and Cosy Celebrations were exactly the same.
