Fairy Occult Rivalry Problem

I would like to leave a suggestion to EA to stop the occult rivalry thing. It just looks racist (assuming the occults are different species from each other in magical essence), and I can explain. First: I'm on PC. I'm fully updated as of today, Sept. 17, 2025 8am EST. I have minimal decor mods that aren't in the household I will use as an example; and I have a 'no romance decay' mod (by lumpinou) that gets rid of the issue you guys have with romance decaying for no reason after lovestruck came out in 2024. Below I will outline the problem by starting off with an example of a good, and fun, occult difference dynamic (vampires vs. everyone); and then I will outline what I believe is a fun-ruining issue that occurs with the fairy pack (fairies vs. spellcasters and vampires).

Example of fun occult differences (using vampires):

I have gameplay that includes all the different occults as well as human sims (and by 'human sims' I'm just meaning that they are regular and non-occult (to keep my game lore simple for this explanation)). Even with my vampires I have them all fully not only cohabitating but marrying other occults (and human sims) with none having ill sentiments towards others outside of all sims naturally not liking when vamps drink from folks without permission. Drinking without permission should naturally cause dislike or negative sentiments because it is an action that a vamp can choose to do or not do; and when I play as certain vamps in my game there are some who don’t drink from anyone and use packs even though they stay near starving (I have fun gameplay with that); I have some that have a household of ‘worshipper sims’ who they drink from at leisure by draining them completely and putting their life force back after (and that’s a lot of fun); and then I have one vamp sim who has debaucherous woohoo parties where he drinks from his lovers with permission, and uses the Cupid app to drain life from npcs as snacks (or take out) and that’s also a heck ton of fun. I have had no issue with having my vamps be likeable to some sims or gain negative reputations with others through their actions if I want, and this has always led to versatile gameplay scenarios I can have a lot of fun with. This is a big positive. Nothing needs changing with the vamps (aside from the plasma drinks not being fulfilling, and there not being enough plasma food items to make a vampire-centric meal or restaurant -but that's another issue/suggestion I'll report separately if no one has already pitched it for me to vote on). The vampire pack is a lot of fun in these ways I've mention.

Example of how the fairy occult rivalry is not fun:

With the fairy pack, I love the fairy powers, they are useful and I have created a sort of ‘deity sim’ fairy caste living in Innisgreen who can sort out ailments for other sims. What I’m having a problem with with fairies is their natural dislike of spellcasters and vampires -and their dislike is beyond some idea of lore revolving around magic type and magic usage. Let me explain. I have two teen sims that have been a couple for quite a while now in my game. One is a spellcaster, and the other was previously a mersim (mermaid sim), but I made a plot point for his character to have this condition where his magical ability sort of shifts due to its instability, leading to him changing over into a fairy overnight (essentially, I changed him from a mermaid to a fairy in cas for my gameplay plot purposes). Now, where these two lovers had no issues with each other previously, and their moodlets were always positive with positive interactions with each other previously while one sim was a merman, now that the sim is a fairy, he has a constant moodlet of ‘grudge’. The teen has even begun yelling at the other sim for ‘improper use of magic’, when my spellcaster sim isn’t even using magic around him.

Currently, in my gameplay, some spellcaster sims are spellcasters because they have chakra molding abilities (like Avatar the last Airbender, or Naruto - chakra being some innate ability to use the body's qi to do stuff or bend the elements, etc. Those are tv shows I have characters from in my sims 4 gameplay. Some are spellcasters because it fits that they have access to a power even though I may not be actively using their powers in my gameplay). So, my spellcaster sim and fairy sim couple are currently staying with a Chestnut Ridge rancher to learn to ride horses for my sim National Military Force (which they are both enlisted in). Where their relationship was beautiful and budding (so lovely) before the fairy pack came out, now, my fairy sim (who needed the transition for plot) is always harboring a grudge moodlet. I’ve tested him around other characters and he just always has one (because he has a lot of spellcaster friends including his lover). So now, it’s been a while that I’ve been trying to find where his grudge is from, and I’ve just seen that while he’s around regular human sims (no occult) the moodlet is entirely gone. When I looked this up, I found the fairy occult grudge thing, and it literally makes no sense to me. It just looks like my sim is racist. Literally.

Spellcaster sims he is both friends and lovers with give him a grudge even with his bars filled to green and pink for them, and it literally reminds me of how in American history, some folks had friends and lovers of different ethnicities and still didn’t like them because of some programmed dislike that made no sense back then and definitely should not be a thing right now. While humans are all one race in real life, my gameplay has various types of sims, and human sims are like 15% in my game (50% if you include the spellcasters who are humans who just bend/wield chakra abilities). Spellcasters are the largest portion of my game, and now that I have like three or four fairies (and may possibly have more at some point) these fairies have already brought some weird vibe to my game where they just have grudges and even go off on other sims for some weird reason that makes no sense in terms of how it could work for gameplay. Unlike vampires who do things that could cause sims to dislike them naturally (like consuming other sims and all) the spellcasters aren’t doing anything in my game. There are some casters whose powers I build, and some who are low level or have no need to build their magic after being born with it, so they are literally doing nothing to deserve being randomly yelled at by fairies, so why is this a thing necessary to the fairy occult? Why are the fairies so hateful for no reason? It’s annoying, and there’s no way to turn off the fairy racism. It would be one thing if fairies had just a small natural negative toward other sims upon meeting them (like: if they were simply foreign sims who lived off in the forest away from others, reclusively, so they have a guard up or something like that)...then, the natural initial negative would make sense (as long as you could work past it). If that were it (as in, once you get past meeting and knowing different new sims they (the fairies) would have no negative moodlets or grudges that are repulsive) then I think it 'might' be an okay game thing...

But these fairies just KEEP having grudges out of absolutely nowhere. My sim could mess around with his lover in one moment and then have a grudge moodlet in the next (until the lover leaves), and it is getting on my nerves. There is no plot point that can make this type of thing a sensible thing for fun gameplay. Can you guys please make a toggle or something so this feature (the fairy occult racism thing, idk what it’s called exactly) can be turned off? It’s extremely annoying in every way. I also don’t see why it’s necessary. Furthermore, any lore that could account for this type of extreme grudge moodlet thing could probably be likened to American racism and discrimination from the early 1900s. Just saying. Please consider this. I think the only thing it might require is for fairy sims to stop getting grudge moodlets around spellcasters and vampires who haven't done anything to them (and literally all my sims are friends...there's kind of zero reasons for sim grudges in my gameplay at present). If anyone else feels this is an issue that should see some attention, please upvote it. (I hope I found the right forum for this. I’ve never left a complaint before).
