I would love this. I often play a decades challenge and add those things to the lots I make to look like marketplaces in saves. I do often cheat the money for hiring staff for the booths, but it would be nice to not have to do that.
I'm on console so I don't use mods but my played Sims generously hire vendors when visiting a community lot with a load of empty booths. But vendors only carry on working for a few hours and then leave and I have to hire them again.
It's been a popular request over the years to just have vendors arrive automatically so I hope we see it added at some point.

If you have eco lifestyle you can use the market place lot type. That will spawn up to 3 vendors. This works for most stalls like food stalls from city living, jungle adventure,... but unfortunately not for the cottage living ones.
Too bad an EP is required for this to work. I would love for vendors (and bar staff) to be automatically spawned at all community lots.

I’ve been using a mod to spawn vendors and other service NPCs for so long, I forgot it isn’t actually a thing! It definitely should be.

Yes, PLEASE allow vendors to automatically spawn on more lot types! I’m on console but I use the Marketplace lots all the time simply for this reason. Otherwise I have to make my sims hire the vendors, cheat the money back, and repeat every few hours. It’s super annoying. If the automatic spawning isn’t an option for some reason, maybe there could be a setting to turn it on for each booth/bar/etc.

Agreed. It's also just so depressing when I find a great build in the gallery for a park or other community lot, and it has some food stalls or something set up on it, which is SUPER cute and would make so much sense for the build but...then I have to ask myself, ugh, venders aren't gonna show up, so maybe I'll just delete that bit? But then that kinda ruins the look/feel of the build as a whole, so should I look for something else? OR do I track down and install that mod that fixes this again and hope the next game patch doesn't break it.
Or we could just have the very basic obvious feature that pretty much everyone THINKS should work (why even allow us to place these items instead of hiding them in debug if they won't work properly?) already in the game. Like...come on lol.
