Would be cool if EA listened to user feedback instead of being openly hostile towards people trying to enjoy the game. Nothing makes you want to quit a game more than constant reminders that you are nothing but a cash grab.
Yeah, it was a bit of a slap in the face to have my thread consolidated into this one. If the excessive flashing really was a bug, then a bug report is still important of course, but that was never my issue. Since they've marked this as solved when my problem is in fact not solved, I've made another thread in the Feedback section of the forums.

A request from those who are still claiming to see the pulsing cart icon after the emergency patch: if at all possible could you get us any video of what you're seeing in game around this?
The pulsating cart icon should not be occurring after the emergency patch release.
There is a small yellow dot in the corner of the cart icon that you should still see until you click on it, then it should go away.
Any info you can provide would be helpful, and if you're playing on PC with a no-mod vanilla game install and are still seeing the pulsing icon (or any other oddness) please follow the steps here to share your save file with us for further investigation.

EA really believes that we are considering the flash and the pulsating cart as a problem.
Just to be clear EA: the ICON is the problem. It should not be there.
But now you are telling me to click on it to get rid of the flashing light? And send you a video to show that?
I feel like I'm in a Black Mirror episode... 🤨
@EA_Cade Or you could remove it like literally everyone wants? This is the most unanimous the Sims community has ever been and yet we're still being ignored.
Also the "claiming" part implying that players are lying...
The fact it doesn't bother you is all that matters I guess... The updated Betterbuildbuy removes it for those who use mods. Just an fyi to other mod users. Unfortunate, for those who don't use mods who dislike it though...
