The original request was to stop the animation of the shop icon. Now the bug is fixed, this issue was moved to the Feedback section. IMHO why y'all boycott? You could just ignore the icon, not clicking on it, or use a mod.
EA is a corporation. The mission of any corporation is to make profit. To make profit they need to advertise their product to the custom in various ways. If you don't like the shop icon why can't you just use a mod to completely ignore it? They aren't going to remove it, judging from many previous acts.
Because I've paid hundreds to EA for the game.
Is wanting something ad free after paying so much really such a big ask?
It's just some serious disrespect to their clients and a line need to be drawn.
