The original request was to stop the animation of the shop icon. Now the bug is fixed, this issue was moved to the Feedback section. IMHO why y'all boycott? You could just ignore the icon, not clicking on it, or use a mod.
EA is a corporation. The mission of any corporation is to make profit. To make profit they need to advertise their product to the custom in various ways. If you don't like the shop icon why can't you just use a mod to completely ignore it? They aren't going to remove it, judging from many previous acts.
Last comment and I close this chapter in my life. Its a problem because we paid for a product, a game pc or console, not downloaded it for free.
I cannot mod anything as a console player and I refuse to ignore the fact they added a completely useless and redundant button WHILE breaking the game further to sell more stuff. This is after you pass 3 screens of pop ups. I don’t care if it pulsates or not - it is not supposed to be there. EA has killed my love for this game with their cash grab tactics.
If you think its normal to put a shopping cart icon which basically has no added value just besides being another shortcut to the store (you still need to leave the game and restart if you buy anything - expect at least 5-10min of loading screen) I guess there is no point in discussing as we have a fundamental difference in opinion on WHY it shouldn’t be there.
As one of the stupid idiots who has bought all the dlcs and kits since I play on console, I deeply disagree with this approach and honestly screw this.

I reckon I'll soon follow your example. I've already completely given up on Madden and Star Wars: Battlefront, after this EA has nothing left for me. InZOI can't arrive soon enough. If the game is capable of launching and running smoothly for a few hours, it's already a far superior product.
