Admittedly I have not played in several months thanks to adulting, but I was super excited to hop on today. That is until I was done updating and entered my save. I have PTSD and with it I'm hyper-vigilant.The pulsating light on the shopping button is abhorrent and every time it starts to blink I immediately hyper focus on it because it triggers my fight/flight response. I cannot play the game like this and I'm livid. Not only is the addition of a shopping button in game invasive, but the fact that this has been a known issue for players since February with NO response shows that you do not care that hundreds, if not thousands, of people use this game in therapeutic means. I will not play, purchase, or support this game until this is removed or an option to opt out/turn off is given. My mental and physical health is more important than your bottom line.
Thank you to everybody who is stilll posting here. I stand by my decision to not update the game as long as the shopping cart is not removed. (Which means that I hardly ever play it anymore.) I don´t really think they will remove it but, just to be sure, I check here every two months or so. And thanks to you all I then know that nothing has changed. Which is a pity because I loved that game. But at the moment at least I do not miss it because I really enjoy playing Palia, so ... All the best to all of you!

Happy independence day weekend, Sims team and community (US players)! Happy summer to everyone else!
@EA_Cade can we please have an update. Are you still tracking this thread or no?
Does EA even care at all about where its money comes from? Because it's from us, the players, and honestly, a little recognition could go a long way.
Thank you
