Feedback: The Fat and Muscle System Needs to be Better Tuned

The system with fat, muscle, exercise, and calories in TS4 really needs to be better tuned. Some examples of what I've seen in my game: - A sim who never exercises but only eats garden salad got ...

Does anyone know if there’s a mod to turn off the gain and loss of muscle and fat for ALL sims? When searching around on the internet I could only find that MCCC has a setting for it, but then it has to be set for all sims separately.

I don’t use mods and I don’t want to start using them, but this badly tuned “feature” is game-breaking for me. It makes me not wanting to give my sims food or have them exercise. I end up cheating their needs when the hunger bar gets into red, which I don’t want to do since I want to actually be able to play the game, as in taking care of my sims. So at this point I think the only thing I can do is to find a mod to fix this.

    @SqueamishNerd So far it's working for me to start all Sims out with an athletic aspiration to get them the High Metabolism trait at the start. Then I change it to something else once they're in the world but they keep that trait. Their body shapes/types are staying as I created them. I've been doing this since the Autumn and am happy with the results. Obviously they still build muscle if exercising but they're not doubling in size if I don't want them too.

      @simsplayer818 I don't want all my sims to have the high metabolism trait though, that takes away from their individuality

        @SqueamishNerd Yeah I definitely get what you're saying.
        I don't play them as sporty Sims and they're all different sizes still. I take the athlete aspiration away and they don't follow it but as the creation trait they are still left with it, most of them don't even exercise much. Mostly occasional swimming but that's all. They're not all super skinny as I wouldn't like that and they're not actually sporty in life. For me it's literally just stopped the sizes changing the way they were so I'm in control. But as a console player I can't use Mods or Cheats unfortunately. So it's the only option I've found for console. Hopefully someone will know of a mod that can help on PC for you and we can cover all bases until hopefully devs take a look at it 🤞.
