Ever since the sale of this game there have been far too many bugs and other issues. I signed in after a few months away because of the other previous bugs only to find that my lots can't be searched...

YES! I agree with everything you said. I've been trying to solve an 800/801 error code for over a week. I get some suggestions but some are rather long and right now I'm too tired to try them. I appreciate everyone who is trying to help, but this is EA's problem and they should get this fixed right away. I'm wondering if the technicians are too busy working on Sims 5. And they don't care if our game gets fixed. Maybe hoping we'll give up on 4 and buy 5. Playing the sims is a hobby for me. Have been playing since the very beginning. I do not recall having so many of these error issues so often until this version. I will try the suggestions tomorrow.
