EverclearBoy the parting hug got me right in the feels I have to agree. It was more that it would go back to being just a regular stuffed toy and they wouldn't share adventures again but I think that's to kind of promote the new imaginary friend toy from Adventure Awaits. I'll be trying that feature out this week. I still have my first bear (Toby) and any special ones that were gifts over the years or souvenirs from special trips because I can't bear 🧸 to put them in the trash!
I think the Forever Friends event had a bit more substance to it. It reminded me of a challenge from Sims Freeplay years and years ago with a visiting young character that I think was a pirate 🤔. I remember being really mushy when my Sim parted with him because they had to dance together before he left. I hope future events have this emotional side to them, it makes them more engaging for me.
