High School Years: Uncouple "Sneak Out" from Openable Window

My teenage Sims want to sneak out, but they are stuck at home because the Openable Window is not available (and never seems to work) and there is no other option. It would be nice if the "Sneak Out"...

@jpkarlsen Thank you for your suggestions, but it's not that I don't understand how the window works, it's that wish that "sneaking out" were not tied to the window.

uh, you can lock the teenage sims bedroom door for only that person, so nobody comes in
