Household inventory - PS4 - unable to sell stacks Sims 4

I have probably 25 different vegetable/flower varieties, harvested by my “ranch hand”, that were automatically sent to my household inventory. Each stack has 99+ items. I am unable to sell the full stacks no matter what combo of buttons pressed. Square + triangle doesn’t work. Neither does adding X. There is no option to multi-select, nor update the sell quantity. I probably have over $70,000 worth of harvestables stuck that i cannot sell unless i sell one by one.

this issue seems to have persisted on console since 2017. I really hope it gets fixed soon because i rely on the ranch hand to sell my crops.
