I'M DONE
Wow… congratulations, EA. You’ve finally done it — you’ve managed to burn out someone who’s been playing The Sims since they were 17. I’m in my 40s now, have spent thousands of dollars on this franch...
I can't completely blame you with EA, if you think they fixed the bugs, it create new bugs
Gameplay could be a bit better (except i'll create challenge so i can still enjoy the gameplay)
As for the price, i guess that's EA for you, i doubt they will make it cheaper but some pack goes on sales sometimes so you can buy them for less money
But as for mods: it's very well known it will break the game each time there's an update or when packs get added, you can place mods elsewhere for temporary untill it's updated then put your mods back or delete them and wait untill the mods are up-to-date so you can download the newest mod
just saying this calmly but i think you should know that each time there's an update mods will possibly break (i learned this the hard way)
I understand your frustrations though
Since you mentioned about uninstalling The Sims 4 though i wish you good luck, you should do what feels right, i'm not gonna stop you from playing other games (some people started doing this too)
The Sims 1 & 2 also exist but i don't know if it works on newer windows though but it's worth to give it a try atleast
