If nothing else, please turn off the "Notification Wall is Full" notification.
And while we're talking about 'incessant' and 'annoying' things in the Sims, why does every friend have to call one of my Sims to ask them for relationship advice or whether or not they should get a new job. I am usually always playing with a Full House (8 sims) and these come up often enough that they get annoying - even my needy friends aren't this needy.
