Layering Clothing

hi every one.

The sims 4 is getting pretty close to rl mean the clothing area is getting more and more detailed and expanding with options. However since the other posts regarding this is from 2020 or earlier, I decided to post a new.

I would love to see all clothing able to be layered, such as

*Underwear

Tops

Bottoms

jackets

ETC...  such as every part of clothing have its own layer Relly I'd be happy if EA put in a new layer to separate Jackets and underwear.

I agree this would be cool. I was hoping with the new Simtimates Kit that would be the case but it wasn't. Missed opportunity IMO.

In CAS, they could set up layering as they do with Occult Sims. You can dress and customize the Occult and the Human Sim, so set up layering like that for underwear for instance, allowing players to customize the layers of different outfits depending on the occasion or the season (i.e. wearing different underwear for cold weather outfits vs hot or because its Love Day).

Could also bring back the option to "change into underwear" from the Sims 2 (like currently there's an option for Sims to "change into nude"). Like when you get home from work and you immediately take off your work pants, that's what I'm thinking. And when Sims do this there's a chance of it adding a moodlet like happy because they're feeling comfortable, or flirty or confident because they feel like they look good in their underwear, or it reduces stress if they have the tense moodlet from a long day at work.

And if the Sim works from home, it'd be fun to add the option for Sims to change into "business on top." So have them wear professional attire tops with underwear or sweatpants bottoms.

And let players customize "change into underwear" and "business on top" in CAS as well.

Totally agree with everything stated here I was playing today and when in sleep wear found the corseted set and couldn’t help but think if you added a skirt and heels it would make a killer outfit was wondering if layering Is obtainable coding wise and if it’s in consideration for a later update , thanks

  •  I think we need an under wear option just like we have swimwear we can have underwear because it's always going back to the basic underwear and bra I would like to choose.

Layered yes I would also like bags and backpacks, duffles, luggage.

@Briana2526 100% agree with the underwear problem. I expected it from the Simtimates kits, but they really missed the opportunity as much as adding backpacks with High School Years or Growing Together, since they added the baby carrier mechanic that could be used for them.

I also miss the belts category from TS2 console.
  • Hi Sim Gurus!

Is it possible to update the clothes so we can choose if we want to tuck in a shirt or leave it u tucked? Can we also have more colors available for clothes? Maybe even a tiedye feature.
