Losing Owned Properties When Moving Out

I have a complaint. Please take it seriously. I’m sure many people are also frustrated by this. My character’s name is Morgan. There are other household members, but I play as Morgan. I purchased a veterinary clinic, a restaurant, a rental property with six tenants, and two more shops for Morgan. Due to university, Morgan had to move outside the city. When I moved there, I noticed that all the assets I owned had disappeared. This is because properties such as the veterinary clinic, rental property, restaurant, etc., are all household-owned. This means that whoever lives in the house owns these properties. Isn’t that ridiculous? In real life, is there a rule that says, “ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS OWN THIS PROPERTY AND IF YOU MOVE OUT, YOU LOSE IT”? Isn’t this supposed to be a simulation game? Please consider updating the game. These kinds of properties should be tied to the individual, not the household. We should be able to assign ownership to the character we are playing. For example, the game could ask: “Who do you want to own this veterinary clinic?” and we could choose. There might be someone living in the house who has nothing to do with the property. Why should they be listed as the owner of my shop? It doesn’t matter. I’m just angry because I have to lose these shops when I leave the household. Am I supposed to stay trapped there forever to keep my shops?

Easy fix. Instead of moving Morgan out, move out the rest of the family. That way Morgan stays in the original household and keeps all the businesses, household inventory etc.
