Mods in Sims 4

While I like the idea of having mods in the Sims 4 game itself, because it would help simmers with not risking viruses on their devices along with console users finally having the ability to mod their games, I do have a few questions in that regard. Would mods be free, if not how much would it be? Would it be less than kits? What kinds of mods would be included? Will there be age restrictions for certain ones? Also how would updating them work without making them buggy or corrupted? I think it would be cooler if marketplace was open to verified modders, where they have background checks, make sure the content is secure, and then make sure they maintain the mods before completely updating the game that way when it does update it does not break. And if mods are going to be included does that mean Custom Content will be too and would that also cost money? I hope not since it’s free on computer. Plus it would make the game more unique.

  • The paid marketplace is how consoles are already getting custom content type of items. They are judy called maker packs. I predict only mod-type packs offered on the marketplace would act similarly. Personally, I refuse to support the marketplace. Since I am on PC, the way I get mods and CC isn't going to change.

What do you think the Marketplace Maker Packs already are? They are objects made by Custom Content Creators officially added into the game for purchase.
