Same! It skipped the optional rewards and moved on once all the others were done. Didn't think this would be a problem with getting enough points. It also seemed to skip the last spend time outdoors or whatever quest it was called, so I made sure to do the last or 2 optional ones to make up for it. Obviously didn't help. Pretty frigging mad, especially when the wording doesn't tell me I had to go unlock items to build them and spent way too long frustrated with trying to troubleshoot the wooden throne not being available at the workbench. I had wanted to just claim them all at the end since I basically blew through the quests in one sitting. I started to lose interest in any storyline. and it just leaves me hanging with a barely started plant sim stump for no apparent reason or explanation on where to get the rest of the seeds? (Not that I'm interested and idk if any changes to them are base game or expansion pack only, and I don't yet have the new pack)
If you have gardening level 10, you can buy rare seed packets that have the Plantsim tree seeds in them. Though it will be expensive. It's $1,000 per packet, you won't get more than one seed per packet, and there's one that's harder to get than the others.
I had a Plantsim tree on my lot already. It's been there for 6 years. I sold it when the quest told me to get a new stump, assuming the end of the quest was going to be growing a new tree. It made me mad when I had to buy more seeds and finish on my own to get it back.
