Neighboorhood Stories vs. Newspaper

I would like the neighborhood stories to be configured a little more realistically. So far, it seems very random to me that I can find out whether two people I don't know have a more distant friendship. I would prefer to only have news about people in my relationship panel and from my immediate neighborhood. Then the information would be relevant and worth reading. 

An Idea: It could be fun if there was a pop-up format to click through, like a newspaper, in the neighborhood's specific design. For example i can think of:

• Neighborhood stories from the world you live in
• Available apartments and houses for sale
• Festival announcements

Depending on the packs you own I can think of:

• Individual dogs and cats available for adoption
• Neighborhood stories about celebrities
• Information about who won the lottery
• Information about who won the Starlight Accolades
