New "Detail Mode" in Pet Paint Does Not Allow You to Paint

Pretty sure this is a new feature. I was very excited about the additional level of zoom the "detail mode" provided when painting pets, but it will not actually allow me to paint in this mode. No matter which brush shape or size I'm using, it shows no color changes when I hover over the part of the pet I would like to paint. The size/color/shape etc. all displays as expected as soon as I exit "detail mode."

Hi SimFormation

as per tool tip, this mode is meant for eyelids, nose and inside ears. This does work well for me.

It says it's for close up work "like" those areas. Misleading verbiage if that's all it can be used for.
