NEW IDEA: building a mini loft by just one floor

I want the sims dev team to let us build a mini loft that doesn't require building an entire 2nd floor. (which means that the loft can be built with medium height wall and so) for my tiny living household in sims 4. Now the raising platform function isn't helpful at all because it wastes a lot of space with its bucky walls and foundation.

@t9xicwy86hxd You don’t have to build a second floor if you don’t want to? And there are three different wall heights available.

    @PipMenace Perhaps thinking of it as being able to add flooring to a half wall would be easier to understand. If I'm building using tall walls, I should be able to add a loft room area (bedroom, reading room, living room, etc.) that is open to the rest of the home.
