The Sims 4: Gods & Legends — A Mythology-Inspired Expansion Pack

I would absolutely LOVE to see a mythology-inspired pack for The Sims 4. I think The Sims could do so much with gods, demigods, ancient civilizations, and mythological creatures!

The pack could be inspired primarily by Greek mythology, while still giving players the freedom to create their own gods, legends, and mythologies.

⚡ Two New Occult Types: Gods & Demi-Gods

Gods

Gods would be powerful supernatural Sims with different divine domains. A Sim could be associated with a domain such as:

• The sea
• Death and the Underworld
• Night and darkness
• War
• Love
• Wisdom
• Nature
• The sun
• The moon
• Storms and lightning

Each god could have unique powers and abilities based on their domain. Gods could be immortal, bless or curse other Sims, travel between realms, and have divine bloodlines.

I would also love the ability to create completely original gods, so players could build their own mythology instead of only using existing Greek gods.

🩸 Demi-Gods

Demi-gods would be the children of gods and mortals. They could inherit powers from their divine parent and develop their abilities as they grow older.

Their powers could depend on their godly parent. For example:

• A child of a sea god could have water-related abilities.
• A child of a god of death could have a connection to ghosts and the Underworld.
• A child of a god of the night could have darkness-related powers.

Demi-gods could be stronger than normal Sims but not as powerful as full gods. They could also potentially become full gods later in life.

🐍 Mythological Monsters

I don't think monsters necessarily need to be an additional occult type. Instead, they could be special creatures that exist naturally in the world.

The world could include creatures inspired by:

• Medusa
• Minotaurs
• Sirens
• Harpies
• Centaurs
• Cyclopes
• Griffins
• Other mythological creatures

Some could be friendly, some dangerous, and some could interact with Sims in unique ways.

🏛️ A New Ancient Greece-Inspired World

The pack could include a large world inspired by Ancient Greece, with:

• Marble temples
• Ancient cities
• Coastal villages
• Islands
• Mountains
• Ruins
• Palaces
• Sacred areas dedicated to different gods

I would also love a separate divine realm inspired by Mount Olympus and an Underworld realm where Sims could interact with the dead and the gods connected to death.

🔮 Prophecies, Quests & Legends

A major gameplay system could be prophecies.

Sims could receive prophecies that influence their lives and create storylines. Demi-gods and heroes could go on quests, discover ancient secrets, fight monsters, or try to prevent a prophecy from coming true.

This would give players a reason to actively explore the world and create their own stories.

👑 Divine Bloodlines

Gods could have children with mortal Sims, creating demi-gods and powerful family trees.

Players could create entire divine dynasties with:

• Godly bloodlines
• Rival families
• Succession conflicts
• Ancient curses
• Forbidden relationships
• Divine alliances

This could create endless storytelling possibilities across generations.

Create-A-Sim & Build/Buy

The pack could include:

• Ancient Greek-inspired clothing
• Divine robes and crowns
• Armour and hero outfits
• Mythological accessories
• Temple architecture
• Marble furniture
• Ancient statues
• Columns
• Altars
• Palaces
• Underworld-inspired objects

I would also love the ability to create Sims that look completely divine, with unique glowing effects, auras, and supernatural appearances.

Why I Think This Pack Would Work

The Sims already has vampires, spellcasters, mermaids, werewolves, ghosts, aliens, and other supernatural Sims. A mythology pack would add something completely different.

Instead of only playing as one type of supernatural creature, players could create an entire mythology:

Gods → Demi-Gods → Mortals

while mythological creatures and monsters exist throughout the world.

The possibilities would be endless. Players could recreate Greek mythology, create their own pantheon, make a Percy Jackson-inspired save, build a fantasy kingdom, or invent an entirely new mythology.

I would genuinely buy this pack immediately. Please give us The Sims 4: Gods & Legends! 🏛️⚡🌑
