Newcrest needs updating/upgrading
A lot of players, since the world's introduction, have actually been put off by, and avoid playing in Newcrest. Sometimes it comes down to the emptyness, but usually its because the world is too bland and too sparse; lots of lots are spread apart, dont have enough size variation or have not enough of wanted lot sizes - it makes some players prefer playing in prebuilt/prepopulated worlds.
Many areas of the world in Newcrest suffer from early-sims 4's technical limitations - having tons of shells and little of playable space besides the lots.
Since sims 4 can now be graphically more intensive and theoretically hold more lots and enviromental details, thanks to directx11, i believe Newcrest should be updated with more lots, both small and large.
The lots I'd add would make the 3 neighbourhoods more distinct with a few lots closer and a few spreading out which would, inturn, make a more lively atmosphere and the player could choose a more consistent or more chaotic landscape rather than the pre-destined willow creek architecture of the shell assets.
Llama Lagoon would get 2 new lots, Bridgeview would get 4 and Ridgeline Drive would get 1 new lot.
Besides lots I'd also love to see the enviroment get updated with less houses for more greenery and social spots like in some worlds. I feel that the willow creek house assets limit how well some styles blend into the enviroment and thus tends to stifle some's creativity.
I also feel Newcrest has the potential to be more adaptive to dlc and new systems - there could be events that happen in newcrest or a dlc could bring it's gameplay into newcrest; maybe there could be a nature appreciation event near the river in Llama lagoon or a fortune teller /tarot card reader in the woods of Ridgeline drive.
