As I have constantly said: as someone who bought The Sims 4 at launch (60 euros), I'm against freemium features in The Sims 4. The stuff is cool sometimes, but the FOMO aspect is so... terrible.
Can't I just enjoy making my own worlds. Yeah, you're getting log-ins, EA, but the thing is that I'm scared to play my saves due to that For Rent save corruption bug. I've made an alternative save for the events and don't care about filler rewards like potions, Simoleons, and Satisfaction points. Collectibles... These I can sell in retail stores.
The Sims 4 does allow cheats though, so you can wait until all quests are available and you have time, then with cheats, speedrun the event!
