i hate the live events so much. this is an offline game, live events are for online games. you know, ones you log into every day. this game is WAY too much of a hassle to load when im just not in the mood to play. when i have to log in for an event for one of my mmos, it takes less than 10 minutes. sims can take a half hour. also, maybe my current family just isnt interested in this current thing. i dont want to switch households because YOU want me to. thats not fun or convenient. its just NOT the experience i want with this game. i get addicted to one family at a time. im not switching around a whole lot. and oh, goody, you cant turn it off.
i have been actively avoiding playing for weeks waiting for this latest one to be over. altho there isnt much point, as they will surely just add another one. so stupid. if you want to add these new features, just do it in a kit or something. or give us the option to TURN IT OFF
